Health & Care Management

Putra helps you stay on top of your pet's health by centralizing all care information in one place. This guide covers viewing health records, managing vaccinations, and using the triage feature.

Dashboard Health Overview​

Your Client Dashboard provides a quick health summary:

Stat Cards​

  • Upcoming Vaccines - Number of vaccinations due soon
  • Recent Vet Visits - Count of visits in the last period

Upcoming Care Section​

Shows the next scheduled care items:

  • Pet name
  • Type of care (vaccination, checkup, etc.)
  • Due date
  • Quick action to add calendar reminder

Viewing Health Records​

Accessing Pet Health History​

  1. Go to My Pets
  2. Click on a pet to open their profile
  3. View the health timeline in the pet details

Health Timeline​

The health timeline shows all care events chronologically:

Health records are added by veterinary clinics you visit. You cannot add or edit clinical records yourself to ensure data integrity.

Vaccination Tracking​

Viewing Vaccinations​

For each pet, you can see:

  • Vaccine type (Rabies, Distemper, etc.)
  • Date administered
  • Administering clinic
  • Next due date (if applicable)

Upcoming Vaccinations​

The dashboard highlights vaccinations coming due:

  • Shows pet name and vaccine type
  • Displays due date
  • Provides quick booking action

Vaccination Reminders​

Add vaccination reminders to your calendar:

  1. Find the vaccination in Upcoming Care or pet details
  2. Click the Calendar icon (📅)
  3. Choose reminder timing:
    • On the due date
    • 1 week before
    • 2 weeks before
  4. Download the .ics calendar file
  5. Import to your preferred calendar app

Prescriptions​

Viewing All Prescriptions​

Access all prescriptions from Prescriptions in the sidebar:

  • Complete list of all prescriptions for all pets
  • Filter by pet
  • View details of each prescription

Prescription Details​

Each prescription shows:

  • Medication name
  • Dosage instructions
  • Prescribing clinic
  • Date issued
  • Duration/refill information
  • Associated pet

Active vs. Completed​

Prescriptions are marked as:

  • Active - Currently valid, may need refills
  • Completed - Course finished or expired

Symptom Triage​

The Triage feature helps you assess your pet's symptoms and determine urgency.

Accessing Triage​

  1. Click Triage in the sidebar
  2. Select which pet you're concerned about

Using the Symptom Checker​

Step 1: Select Symptoms​

Choose from common symptoms:

  • Changes in appetite or thirst
  • Lethargy or unusual tiredness
  • Vomiting or diarrhea
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Limping or mobility issues
  • Skin problems
  • Behavioral changes

Step 2: Provide Details​

For each symptom, specify:

  • When it started
  • Severity (mild, moderate, severe)
  • Any patterns or triggers

Step 3: Review Assessment​

The triage provides guidance:

After Triage​

Based on results, you can:

  • Book an appointment - Direct link to clinic booking
  • Save assessment - Keep a record for your veterinarian
  • View nearby clinics - Find emergency services if urgent

Care Records Added by Clinics​

When you visit a veterinary clinic using Putra, they may add:

Medical Records​

  • Examination notes
  • Diagnoses
  • Treatment plans
  • Weight and vital signs

Vaccinations​

  • Vaccine type and manufacturer
  • Batch numbers
  • Next due dates

Prescriptions​

  • Medication details
  • Dosage instructions
  • Refill information

Invoices​

  • Services rendered
  • Costs and payments
  • Receipt records

You'll receive notifications when new records are added to your pet's profile.

Health Information Privacy​

What Clinics See​

When you book with a clinic or they look up your pet:

  • Basic pet information
  • Previous visit history (at that clinic)
  • Active allergies and conditions you've shared

What's Private​

  • Records from other clinics (unless you authorize sharing)
  • Your personal medical history
  • Financial information

Sharing Controls​

You control what health information is visible on:

  • Public digital cards (minimal by default)
  • Clinic lookups (more detail for care purposes)

Tips for Health Management​

  1. Keep records updated - Add allergies and medications to pet profiles
  2. Set reminders - Use calendar exports for vaccinations
  3. Regular checkups - Schedule annual wellness visits
  4. Use triage wisely - For guidance, not diagnosis
  5. Share concerns - Note symptoms before clinic visits
